After all

You were never really there,
and I never really met you;
I dreamed you--
though you seemed so very real.

There is nothing to remember,
so why can't I forget you?
Why do I feel you near
when you were never there?

    The last two lines of the first stanza (very specific aren't I?) were amazing. I love the thought of dreams being real....the longing in this was tangible.

    If we are to imitate Our Blessed Lord in all things, then we must allow our hearts to be wounded for love even as His own Heart was wounded--doing all out of love and for Love. Thank you both for writing, and may God bless you.
